The basic unit of a linear cable engines (LCE) consists of three pairs of wheels and four pairs of wheels, which are combined based on the required tension and installed on an independent skid. During construction, LCE forms an operation line together with pair wheels (D0HB), storage drive equipment etc., sharing power and control systems.
